(Wife writing on hubby's account) This is my first shopping trolley ever. I'm 40 years old and due to a health condition I find myself with hardly any energy anymore. I'd been toying with the idea of getting one of these wheeled shopping bags and my latest trip to the shops confirmed I should get one. I can shuffle there and back just fine but carrying bulky/heavy bags back with me is now a stretch. So I looked online for a while to find the right one for me. I'm 5' 10 so wanted a taller one so I don't have to stoop when pulling it along. At 95cm tall this one seemed a good height. I nearly settled for a cheaper one but upon looking at those reviews the bag didn't seem to be attached very well to the frame and kept either blowing all over the place when empty or the top flap was reported to undo under strain when full etc etc... So I looked a bit more and found this one. It had good reviews and seemed to be more attached to the frame, aswell as most importantly: being tall enough! It took about 3 days to arrive and came in a box which was as tall as the trolley but fairly flat. The first thing I noticed pulling it out was that it really was very lightweight. The wheels were in a separate little bag. In order to assemble you just yank the little black ends off the axel and push the wheels on in their place. There is a step by step picture instructions card to follow to make sure. Once the wheels are on you push the frame out into place and that's it. Upon inspection of the bag itself, I was very impressed and more excited than I should be about all the little pockets and straps. Especially against some of the negative points on other models. The bag itself is insulated and securely attached to the frame so it will stay in place even when the bag is empty. The main compartment has a toggle closing and also a long flap over the top. It is secured by a strap with a snap fastener (I dunno what they're called but you can see in the picture) so you know it's not going anywhere with a full load or bit of wind. There are also two additional pockets on the front, one insulated with a toggle fastening under the flap (great for bottles). There is also a flat, zipped compartment on the other side for any other bit and pieces. Additional features of the bag are a carry handle on the side like a duffel bag and two plastic loops for a shoulder strap (provided). So it looks like you can also take it off the frame and carry it about as an independent bag. Like I said, I am a bit stupidly excited about this new shopping trolley. But I didn't think I would find one so practical and cool. And it is the actual height as advertised and a very comfortable height to pull along. I guess I was expecting to be let down in some way and am very happy to report that I wasn't. This seems a very good bit of kit and I can now shuffle my backside to the local shops and **** my stuff in my little baggy and pull it home without fear of passing out as soon as I get there. Marvellous!
Long walk from shopping centre to car park was no problem with a full trolley. No problems here.
shopping Trolley on wheels
I must admit I felt a little young to be using one at the age of 56 but with arthritis in my knees and really feeling the weight of shopping when carrying bags, I decided to have one for Christmas. This one is cool bag lined so should be good for frozen items. It has lots of little pockets for a drink bottle, umbrella or purse. At the moment I'm only using it once a month so far for the butchers meat and items from Savers etc. But I will be more likely to walk to the supermarket with it knowing I wont have heavy bags to bring back. I like the smart black colour and its not really that different from pulling a suit case behind you, so we just need to get over the old lady image Shopping Trolleys have had in the past, and even get men to invest in one, if they can have man bags then why not go for the Man Shopping Trolley.
This is my only experience of a trolley, but I think it’s excellent, so lightweight for pulling, lifting. I bought it because of the insulated bag and it worked a treat, kept everything cool for a few hours. It’s easy to pull up steps or curbs. And the bag easily detaches so we have used the trolley without the bag for carrying other items. And then the trolley folds flat, brilliant.
Very large Capacity and easy to take on busses and train.
Love this shopper!
Bought it for carrying all my art supplies round town whilst out painting and it has made my life so much easier. Great to go to the shops too. It’s very lightweight in itself so doesn’t add extra weight and it’s a good height - I’m 5”10 and works for me
It’s LABOUR Saving
It’s Light And Bags of Useful Room, I.e., it is really LABOUR saving!!!!
A useful item
Wide ranging and easy to use trolley not too cumbersome
I was a bit nervous about the quality but it turns out great! Very happy about it and the bag is good quality. Can put probably 3 shopping bags of things in, takes good amount of weight and quite sturdy. fold and unfold the wheels easily. My family would like to get one for themselves too after seeing mine!
Excellent buy good value for money light weight. Would recommend
