I have paddle-boarded numerous times in my life and have never found it difficult. But, living in a city rather than by the coast, I decided to go for a relatively cheap board in case I never use it. Went to order the blue, but it was sold out so had to opt for the pink - was apprehensive about the colour, but I actually love it! Arrived quickly, all the pieces were there, and I took it out for its maiden voyage on a Cornish beach a few days later. It is so easy to inflate - the instructions are really clear. Found it hard work getting it to the recommended pressure, definitely needed a bit of elbow grease! But rock solid once done. The board is a few inches wider than the average, which makes it very stable. My only minor niggle is that the extendable handle of the paddle doesn't stay perfectly in place - moves around slightly as you use it, because the grip that should hold it in place isn't quite strong enough. But in every other respect, this is a brilliant board for beginners, and great value for money.
We've just started SUP boarding, and we love the aqua spirit one, we bought two! it's very easy to pump up and easy to deflate and it looks great in the water. would highly recommend
Perfect for beginners. Really impressed with the quality and you get a lot for your money. Would highly recommend.
It's good value for money as it came with all necessary kits. 1. But The anti-slip layer is some kind of foam and it's thick. It's not as good as those silicone-like layer. And it doesn't cover the whole width of the board. You can see loose glues around it but no sights of damage yet after 3 days' use. 2. The paddle is alluminum or alloy which is a bit heavy especially when used it for a while. 3. The buckle for fixing the bungee is not working well. Though I tighten it a few times, it finally got lost during first use. 4.The changing mat and carriybag are came with moulds on it though it doesn't affect the usage. Generally, it's a good starter kit for a beginner.
Brilliant quick delivery and fab board
